Shirakami-Mountain Range spread about 130,000 hectares and is one of the world's largest beech forests. Within this area, 17,000 hectares are registered as a World Natural Heritage Site. In the untouched beech forest, a variety of flora and fauna coexist. Some mountains need permission to enter, please check before you visit there.
