Towada Lake
Lake Towadako, with the depth of 326.8m, is very transparent. On sunny days, beautiful scenery can be also seen on the surface of the lake. At Yasumiya in Omaegahama, southern side of the lake, the last work of Japanese poet and sculptor Kotaro Takamura, "The statue of Venus", is located as a symbol of Lake Towadako.
